Installation Manual
This exhibition is presented in a Ready-to-Print format: you receive digital files for printing (not originals). There is no shipping, no selection approval process, and no complex production required. You can adapt the scale to your space while keeping the core concept and visual integrity.
01. About the Ready-to-Print format
-
One Ready-To-Print file with posters.
-
One Information Panel (intro text)—must be displayed at the entrance of the exposition.
02. What you will receive
-
The print size: A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) for each artwork.
-
If A2 is not possible (budget/space constraints), A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) is acceptable only as a last resort.
-
Material: preferably thick cardboard, minimum 300 gsm (or equivalent rigid material).
-
Color & layout: do not alter colors, cropping, or typography in the files. (Resizing is allowed if quality is preserved.)
03. Printing requirements (key rules)
-
Minimum distance between prints: 10 cm.
-
Height: hang artworks at eye level (as a reference: the center of each work should be around 170 cm from the floor).
Keep works aligned and evenly spaced to maintain clarity and readability.
04. Hanging and spacing (display standards)
-
The exhibition can be shown in a gallery room, a corridor, or an entrance corner — the presence is more important than the scale.
-
If you cannot print all works, print a reduced selection, but the Information Panel is mandatory. A minimum number of works to be printed is 5 for each year of the full scale war (20 in general).
05. Minimum set-up (when space or budget is limited)
-
Choose the space and confirm you can mount works on walls (tape/pins/screws/rail system).
-
Select the number of works based on wall length and visitor flow.
-
Plan the layout (entrance starts with the Information Panel; artworks follow in a clear sequence).
-
Print according to the requirements above and confirm production timelines.
-
Install (allow enough time; ideally 1–2 days depending on the number of works).
06. Suggested set-up workflow
-
For rigid prints: screws + wall hooks / rail system
-
For cardboard: pins / double-sided tape / small nails
Choose mounting based on your wall type and local venue rules. -
The framing is not necessary but if you have budget and inspiration you may frame the prints, they will look more official.
